In Civic Energy Center (CEC) in North Mitrovica, NGO AKTIV presented on July, 29th the research presentation “Enhancing Transparency and Rule of Law in Kosovo-Serb majority Communities”. This research is done within the framework of a project implemented by NGO Aktiv with the financial support of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs – INL).
This research was carried out in six (6) Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo (North Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Lepsovic/Leposaviq, Zvecan/Zveqan, Gracanica/Graçanicë and Štrpce/Shtërpce). Its goal was to investigate citizens’ attitudes regarding corruption and its impact on their communities and the work of local governing structures in the municipalities covered by this research.
Guest speakers at the presentation were: Shaip Havolli (Director, Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency), Goran Avramović (Journalist, RTV KIM, Gračanica/Graçanicë), Burim Sadiku (Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency) and Dušan Radaković (Executive Director, Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture – ACDC)
